1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Suriya Time website at https://suriyatq.world and your engagement with our watch repair and restoration services. By using this website or submitting a service enquiry, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or our services.

2. Service Appointments

All service work is carried out by appointment. An appointment is confirmed when we have communicated an agreed scope of work and you have left the watch at our workshop. The following applies to all service appointments:

• We will provide a written assessment of the watch's condition before proceeding with any significant work. You will be asked to approve the scope before work begins.
• If additional issues are discovered during work, we will contact you before expanding the scope.
• Timelines provided are estimates. Complex restoration work may take longer than initially indicated. We will communicate any significant delays.
• A service ticket documenting the work carried out will accompany each returned watch. Restoration appointments receive additional documentation in a folder.

3. Pricing and Payment

Our service appointments are priced as follows:

• Diver's Watch Service & Pressure Test: ฿2,500
• Salt-Air Restoration: ฿4,900
• Marine Chronometer & Vintage Diver Restoration: ฿8,000

Prices are quoted in Thai Baht and include the scope described in our service descriptions. Additional work, parts sourcing, or scope changes will be agreed with you before any additional costs are incurred. Payment is due upon collection of the watch. We reserve the right to retain a watch until payment has been received.

4. Your Watch While in Our Care

We take reasonable care of all watches left at our workshop. The following applies:

• Watches are stored securely on our premises during the service period.
• All original parts removed during service or restoration are retained and returned to you with the watch.
• We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, wear, or defects that are present when the watch is left with us. Any such conditions will be noted in our initial assessment.
• Watches not collected within 90 days of notification that they are ready may be subject to a storage charge, and we reserve the right to take reasonable steps to return uncollected property.

5. Limitation of Liability

Our liability for any damage caused to a watch in our care, resulting from our negligence, is limited to the reasonable cost of restoring the watch to the condition it was in when it arrived. We are not liable for consequential or indirect losses, including but not limited to loss of use, diminution in value, or sentimental loss. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death, personal injury, or fraud caused by our negligence.

6. Parts and Materials

Where replacement parts are required, we will discuss acceptable options with you before sourcing or installing them. For vintage restoration work, we source period-appropriate parts where available. We do not use parts whose quality falls below the original manufacturer's specification without your knowledge and agreement.

7. Website Use

The content on this website is provided for general information purposes. We make reasonable efforts to keep information accurate and up to date, but we do not warrant that the website is free of errors. Service descriptions, pricing, and availability are subject to change. The website is not intended to provide advice on the value of any specific watch.
